Your Blackwing in the snow

I jinked myself. I just had to take one of our cats to the vet for an urgent need, during a lovely snow squall, on the OEM Michelins.

The shit we do for the ones we love!
Wow, your vet has a built-in Mc Donald’s? 🤭

We have two cats that are our babies and we will do whatever necessary for them.
He ended up having a UTI which is what I had suspected. Those really are emergencies for male cats due to risk of blockage being life threatening within 24 hours, so white knuckling the snow was worthwhile. He's on the mend!

Great to hear. Growing up, we had cats as pets. In my work career and in retiring, just cats. Our current is a rescue Russian Blue, very good boy. Don

We have two rescue cats, a 10 y/o calico girl that recently had a UTI as well. After blood tests, shots, etc. she rebound fast. She had all her teeth removed before she turned 1 y/o. She is healthy otherwise at 12 lbs.

We have a 1.5 y/o big boy (height & length) weighing 25.6 lbs from recent vet visit. He can stand and see the top of the kitchen island. He isn’t overweight according to the vet, just a big mix breed and stout. Loves to play hard and fast chasing around the house.

I’m so glad you got you boy taken care of and he’s on his way to healing! Beautiful picture, thanks for sharing and wishing him a speedy recovery!

Why were her teeth removed? Seems she was healthy or well on the road to being healthy.

I too have a rescue. Took about 7 visits to get him healthy, despite that one activity wanted to yank his teeth. What for, pure profit?

She had a gum disease requiring teeth removal to save her life. It was uncovered during her second vet visit and scared the hell out of us.
We spent the $$ for the surgery to save her live and don’t regret it! She swallows her hard food when she eats her prescription food. When she sleeps, her tongue usually slides out, lol. She became daddy’s girl and she knows it 😂
