Anyone else have this problem? Particularly when it is very cold but will happen in just a cooler(50F) weather too. When I'm at a crawl speed, like pulling out of a parking spot, the car makes the loudest creaking noises that remind me of being inside a boat. The noise persists if it's really cold out but does dissipate in the warmer months after a short drive time. I don't think it is suspension related personally as it doesn't happen when going over bumps. It does happen when I'm cranking the wheel which makes me think maybe rack related. A part of me wants to think it is chassis related but feel there would be other signs. Bueller?

Not this problem but mine makes weird noises under light throttle in the bitter cold. Very hard to describe but almost like a gurgling / bubbling sound. Sounds like these cars don't like the cold so much.

Feels like -6F currently. Expected in January every year..
Other than my right knee I don't mind it much. Going sledding this weekend where it will have a high, a HIGH, of -5F! Feels like will probably be in the -20's.

I tried to get it on video and go figure it was not as extreme as usual. Whatever, you can definitely hear it as I'm turning to full lock to the left. Sounds like a boat..

Could be the tires, but sounds like something flexing slightly as the chassis is under load. Either interior plastics or the chassis.

Chassis is a possibility. Not a fan of letting the dealer "diagnose". Would much prefer to tell them exactly where to look. Can't be tires because I swap summer to winter and the same problem happens.

I'd check for a loose strut tower, or it could be the plastics inside the car flexing. Could be more noise due to the cold. I haven't driven my car enough in lower than 40 degree temps to really offer any personal insight.

Sounds like it's the turbo encabulator. There's troubleshooting details at the end of the video.
