Okay, I'll bite. If there was nothing wrong before, why did you get an alignment to begin with? Everything is fine. Caster is not adjustable and close enough. Everything else was in spec before and still in spec now!

I suspect when reducing that much unsprung weight, there's a need for more high speed rebound damping. What you may be feeling is the wheel going down the backside of bumps faster (because the springs push the wheel back down as usual, but now there's a lighter mass to accelerate downwards)...

There's a guy on here (American Airlines pilot I believe) who had his engine replaced and everything worked out fine in the end. Through Sewell I believe and took only three weeks. I'm afraid damage may be done by now.

I was thinking the same thing, which makes me think it's either bad knock sensors or incorrectly installed knock sensors. If that was the case, the ecu would have no idea about it.
