The Wave Metallic thread

Picked mine up Friday from Sewell in Dallas. Wife and I took it over to my corporate HQ parking garage, wrapped it in Xpel TracWrap for the 1,000 mile drive home to Orlando.

It was so much fun and so comfortable, the trip we had planned on taking two days only took one 14 hour day. :D

Tint and PPF to come next week.

The last pic just for fun. Be hard to own two more diametrically opposed vehicles.

She's a keeper, and I mean your wife!!! Mine's a keeper too because she puts up with me and my car issues, but she would never be doing that. Sit on a dirty floor and put on Xpel. I couldn't even get her to go when I picked up my 4 in CA.

Love that Wave and congrats!

The XPEL tracwrap is a great idea. I was worried about the drive from Sewell Dallas to Florida when mine arrives, so I will likely borrow your method.

Made the whole trip a lot less stressful.

I bought the 12”x40’ roll and the 4”x20’ roll. We just used a pair of scissors, a small xacto knife and some patience.

I watched a couple of YouTube videos about it, learned that it won’t stick to ceramic coating, and to work from rear of car toward front so the piece in front covers the piece behind seam.

We did the front of the roofline, both a-pillars, mirrors and the whole nose of the car.

Took about 30 minutes to peel off when I got home.

Just picked up my daily driver from the Blackwing King @ Sewell. Just finished Gtechniq CSL and Evo v4 coating. The Wave Blue color is definitely a head turner.

Beautiful! Congrats! One of my favorite colors. I've considered getting a base V as a DD too.

I traded my 2023 Genesis G70 3.3T for it. I do not regret it. My wife thinks I am a Caddy fan boy now…Lol

We had excellent weather for a wash and ceramic coating maintenance. While I do miss my old opulent blue paint, this color really does look great in the sun. Also have some nice beauty shots with the oem carbon splitter and tapout carbon wing. They really changed the look of the car over the stock black pieces.
