BMW is doing 0.9 for 60 on the all

According to their site, they’re currently offering 0.9 for 60 on all ‘21 and ‘22 M cars (no crossovers).
Damn, should've told my dad to wait a month 😂 Every day he seems to be making out better: ordered the car after me, got it sooner with less time from start of production to actual delivery even though it crossed a damn ocean, got better communication from the dealer and easy tracking, and got a better deal on financing. Only downside is he ended up with a major butterface...

That's what I'm going to do. Sales manager kept saying he wouldn't do it. I'm going to keep pushing and make a big stink if he doesn't at least try. One simple thing took my experience with them from an unenthusiastic but more than ok A- to a passionate F in one day.
Don’t forget the inevitable survey.

Don’t worry, I’m sure they’ll end it right before/just as I’m taking delivery of mine in a few months. I’m hoping for some good incentives around Nov-Dec but also not holding my breath.

I almost got a GM card for the BW purchase too, glad I skipped that one.

Has anyone priced out a lease? While I fully intend on keeping this forever, it's nice to have the ability to give it back in 3 years if something wacky happens to car prices.

The leases quoted to me were kinda crazy. With the same down payment, a 36 month / 10,0000 miles per year lease was about the same monthly payment as financing on a 5 year note. They clearly want you to buy!

The interest rates quoted were also a bit high, what have you guys been quoted on financing?

I'm still under the old credit card that gives unlimited pts at 5% and can only be used for a new vehicle purchase. Over the years I've used about 10k in points. My dealer has said I could them up to the redemption limit but my car has not come in yet (EDD 1 Oct). I'd be shocked if we could not use our own points as that should not be any money different for the dealer. It's likely they just need a system update. I've got about $3k and was hoping to use some before they expire or maybe will try to gift some during Dec if thy also have that promo. Don't really plan to buy anything else for a while but nice to have the points ready just in case. The new card is a lot different I think and may not have points expire.

They told me yesterday the card points cannot be used on a blackwing - anyone know how to work around that?

Guess we'll have to read the fine print on the card. Separately - It took a number of years (no involvement by me) but I eventually got my lifetime subscription back on a XM subscription after that lawsuit finalized.

I logged in and sure enough the 2022 is not there. I opened an inquiry within the website form but it said they should reply within 48 hrs. My delivery is not for a while or I would likely call them at

Dealer told me the same thing. Called the card support line twice while fighting with them, and they told me that I could absolutely use the points on the Blackwing and the dealer just needs to call the redemption hotline while I'm there. The dealers just don't want to put in the work.

I tried to read the details on my card but it doesn't even exist anymore. It looks like a family card but has unlimited 5%, rewards expire in 7 years, only use rewards for new car purchase, and has redemption limits. Perhaps I should convert to a newer one at some point if that's possible as the new ones have removed redemption limits. Also I could just scrap the GM card as it is limited in use and other cards have good cash back rates these days. BuyPower Card | Capital One | GM Rewards Credit Cards

I'm on the regular BuyPower card, which has no limits or expirations, so it may be different. It sounds like GM has a mess of conflicting rewards programs which may be confusing things. They also have the My GM Rewards program (separately branded for each GM brand) which is totally separate. But yeah, if I knew it was this much of a hassle I would've just skipped it and gotten better, more flexible points elsewhere.

My dealer suggested I go to the website and use the financing button on there to help expedite things when my car actually arrives
