CT5-V What don't you like about your CT5-V Blackwing?

CT5-V Model
I have a S24 Ultra with a slim case and it fits perfectly, never moves and has survived several drops - see attached photo.

No HD Radio in the 2025+ cars, from what I can tell.
Interesting. The 2023 owners manual says:
If equipped, HD Radio multicast stations
cannot be tuned directly through the Direct
Tune feature.
The 2025 owners manual does not discuss HD radio at all.

Yeah, I believe it is because of the switch to Google OS. Kind of a bummer, since in my BMW the HD tuning made a significant improvement in sound quality over standard FM.

I have a 2022 CT5VBW. Mainly biggest annoyances are GM shitty software related where I wish they would've just used normal gauges.

I exclusively use track mode for the gauge cluster because other modes have a noticeably lower FPS even tho I would enjoy using sport gauge cluster. (I am coming from a Mercedes which despite looking like windows vista rips and never skips a frame)

Speed refresh rate is complete trash and you have no idea how fast you're actually going during hard acceleration and decel.

Somehow dodge can this this right but terrible speedo seems to be a GM trademark:

If you mean you put the drive mode in Track just to have the dashboard in the horizontal bar Track Mode display setting....

you can change it in the settings menu through the steering wheel. you can set the dash display to match the drive mode (I think that is the default) or set it to be a specific one regardless of drive mode. I have mine set to the horizontal Track Mode display because I like the way that one looks cuz racecar.

So the ability to pick it outside track mode is cool. My issue is the other modes are noticeably laggier than track mode. Even something like navigating left and right have low frame rate in tour and sport gauge cluster.

Does anyone's camera views get laggy during night time / low light scenarios? When I'm backing up or pulling forward in low light scenarios, the screen is very laggy/buggy where it could fool someone to believe you can back up/pull forward further before hitting something. Drives me nuts.

Yes, the frame rate slows down at night. Adjust driving accordingly.

Thanks. I’ll add that as my 3rd gripe.
1. Turning radius
2. Fuel tank size
3. Low light camera frame rate

Still the best sedan ever made. It’s like the ZL1 was into older women, impregnated an E39 M5 and 9 months later out came the BW.

An issue with most new cars but nevertheless something I don’t like about my BW: electronic bugs that make me worry about owning the car past warranty. I’m talking about things that would never be an issue with an older, more analog car.
For example, just now my Cadillac App told me my car was near empty even though I was sure I filled it up last time I drove it.
Even said the info had been recently synced and updated; that is, well after I filled it up, before which the gauge had displayed the low fuel amount still in the App.
So, puzzled, I went to the car to start it up to read the fuel gauge and, for a moment, it displayed the exact same incorrect info as the App, as well as a low fuel warning, before displaying more than 3/4 full—as I had, in fact, left it when I last drove it.
We certainly won’t be able to fix these kinds of things ourselves if they totally fail after warranty, so the question becomes: How much will it cost to service them, and might it even by impossible?
No such worries with my reliable old 93 MR2, in contrast.
