Front collision issue

I have a Front Collision Alert light that comes on intermittently on my 2024 CT5-V. I took it to my local dealer and they told me that since the previous owner (dealer) had put an after-market front emblem (blue) on that the radar can't see through it. The black emblem mount is still there regardless of what emblem is in front of it. Anyone else have this issue and have a solution?

If you want to keep the electric blue theme, then you can get something like this which will not block the radar behind the shield.

The V and BW do have differences but I do not think that the safety suite (adaptive cruise, Super Cruise, etc) is different. But best to validate before purchasing. Let us know what you find out.

I have this on my 22’ 5BW and it works perfectly, zero false warnings. It’s the same emblem on 5V or 5 BW. 404 parts uses genuine OEM parts and paints them accordingly.

The shadows on the emblem are reflections from either me or the surrounding, but gives you an idea. Good luck!

So I ordered the appropriate "Kit" that is supposed to allow radar to work for adaptive cruise control. I got the package today and it had a nice carbon trim complete with blue protective tape with a decal of a carbon emblem...Yes, a decal with peel off backing. Yeah...I'm pissed!

When I researched, it stated it was a decal/overlay and I was concerned. Does it still state so in their description?

It was the reason I went with the 404Parts. Savage is much cheaper as it’s a multi piece overlay setup. 404Parts is much more expensive, but it’s painted 1piece OEM with tinted lens, no decal/overlay. They don’t have all of the color options, but for my Rift color, what they had it fit the color scheme.
