Those are great base numbers. Further information, I think, that GM underrates this car.

They do not. All LT4s are tested to meet the SAE spec of 668HP/659lb-ft +/- a couple of percent.

Never, ever, EVER use chassis dynos to try and figure out what your engine is making at the flywheel, because none of them are correct insofar as that. They're fantastic at seeing the difference modifications make.

Yup, that’s why I was looking for what folks would think I could make from what my baseline is as the intent is to use the same dyno after the mods are complete.

None of what I’m looking for is what I’m making at the flywheel….only RWHP.

Trying to keep just below power that would require adding another fuel pump, clutch, trans work etc.

From your previous post: good, glad to hear you have expectations set properly. I was more responding to the person who thought they're overrated.

Now for this comment: watch the clutch. Yes, we've seem some monstrous 5BW modifications over the last few years, but the clutch is apparently rated at exactly the torque output of the engine: 659. I find that a bit sus that GM wouldn't engineer a little safety slop in it. But that's what would probably let go on you, and naturally at the worst possible moment.
