2025 5-BW Precision Package Questions...

I have this battle in my head frequently. But I just want the best driving experience. I may get on the track once a year, but if the car feels better as I’m cruising around on my daily drives is the PP worth it to me? Hard to say that it’s not worth it. I wouldn’t want to regret not getting it but that’s a problem I have I guess. I wouldn’t probably option for CCBs anyway. Had a CF gt500 and the wheel dust was crazy. Would be nice to not have the wheels dusted to death 30 minutes after washing it then going on a drive. Also, the PP will ride much more luxurious then the mustang anyway

Ironically, I opted for the CCBs, so I was already halfway to the PP price.

I don’t regret the CCBs for one second. I love a clean car, and cleaning wheels always sucks.

Regarding ride quality: reports from actual users of the PP package, who have owned 22-24 5BWs: the ride is harsher, even in touring mode. Search the forum for that.

Another side benefit of not getting the PP: I was able to immediately address the fender gap with existing lowering springs. There are no aftermarket lowering spring sets (yet?) for the PP.

And I have a dedicated race car for track work, so I never planned on tracking this car. I hardly get to 10/10s on the street as is, so why add handling costs with wet weather issues.

3k miles on my 2025, 0 regrets about not getting the PP.

I've definitely seen every video and read every review possible out there on the comparison. Matt Farah seems to be the most excited about it of all the reviewers. Loves the PP. Ive driven both in test drives and the PP was comfortable but i did feel more. my Non PP test drive was more extensive as it was a 24 model and they didnt mind that i put 5 miles on it. the new PP i drove around a rough lot and about a mile on a smooth road.
But anyways, if youre happy with the purchase thats all the matters! cant go wrong i dont think with either choice.

So let me get this straight... you've never actually driven the car with the PP, is this correct?

That's officially interesting, don't you think?

Deductive reasoning is like using a scalpel instead of a butter knife.

I don’t need to recklessly spend money in a desperate attempt to force reality when using my brain already tells me everything I need to know.

I didn’t check the box for the reasons above. It made zero sense, regardless of the $$$ ability to do so.

If it’s all about bragging rights, spending the most dollars, don’t forget to check the box for the automatic transmission.
Please, stop excusing yourself - just stop replying - you're starting to look very silly.

You'll never meet a more function-over-form guy than me, so your protestations and arguments (get honest - they're really just excuses for not having money, or being too stingy or miserly to part with it) all ring hollow.

Bragging rights? WTF are those? W in T actual F are you talking about?
All the badges are coming off of my Blackwing. Yours?

You know what? Let's just say this - if you were truly the man you are attempting to portray yourself to be, you would be spending ZERO time wasting any energy or resources in this thread. Your actions (your very presence here) run in complete contradiction to every single one of your words. Please, just stop it.

Lol, talk about low self-esteem, dude. Maybe save some of your thick wallet for therapy. Or go rub one out. You are wound tight.

Cup2Rs alone will transform the car. From grip to steering response.

They also absolutely blow on wet pavement. Or in low temps.

But you be you (which is actually pretty entertaining to watch, I'm waiting with the popcorn for your next tirade to pop off here).

Honestly, if I lived in SoCal, with the optimal driving conditions year-round and the canyons at ready access, I might have checked the V8V box.

But I live in SE PA, with no intention to track the car. So the cost/benefit ratio just wasn't there for me.

I went through the same internal debate that you did, so I feel where you're coming from.

Please tell me when you drove a BW with the PP, so I know you had an actual experience, instead of the ones you keep having in your head, attempting to share here (which, no matter what you say, are just fantasies).

Wait! Did I join the Cadillac V-Series Fantasy Forums and not know it?!? 😮

😂

Please: tell me all about your direct driving experiences with the package that has led you to your bold declarations.

:ROFLMAO:, indeed!

Can you read? Specifically, the title of this thread. How about the first line of the first post? What ITF makes you even remotely believe you have any business in here?

Please leave, and delete all of your stupid, useless, argumentative posts with it. You are nothing but a a thread-crapper, and I, for one, am tired of you.

Suggestion - Make your own post/thread, then crap in it. I'd happily send people over there to argue with you, since it seems that's all you really want.

Side point: I took delivery of my 2026 w/V8V this week, so I've driven both at this point. You?

You're taking something that should be joyous and just shitting all over it. Please, go away. You suck, 100%.

Joyous? Yeah, I wouldn’t describe you that way. Seek help, dude.

You’re amazingly fragile on this topic. It’s quite entertaining.

this is how i feel as well unfortunately. car is still 120K without the PP, why not go all the way?
also, the car is not tuned exactly for CUP2R. Car has enough variance in its programming to work well with PS4S and Cup2R according to the engineers. thats definitely worth noting
I don't have the Cup2r's... and honestly couldn't tell you how much better the car would handle. I can say I have been driving the car as it was designed; as a Luxury car to Work, Golf and Just enjoying weekend rides, Mode; (In Tour Mode essentially, but MY MODE has the exhaust in Track Sound; Love the Sound ! ) also I have brought it to a Track Day with the V Club at Dominion Raceway, where it handled better than anything I have ever driven, and impressed the other Blackwing Drivers with it's ability... I wanted to go faster through the turns and had plenty of power in the straights, had to brake for traffic ahead. With that being said I have run the Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee a number of times, going early in the Morning when there is still some Dew/ damp spots; I think I would be slower, and more cautious on the CUP2r's given their "DRY PAVEMENT ONLY" limitation. If you are someone who is going to spend more time at the Track, get a set of CUP2r's or better for track driving. So far PS4's have held up well 4700 miles... I think the soft compound on the CUP2r's probably have a much shorter "Treadlife", and the PS4's let you drive your car without being concerned if it might rain at some point during the day/ drive !! These cars are made to be Driven and enjoyed in all scenarios..

I like my Automatic Transmission.. It keeps me in check, and saves my tires from the my immature abuse! It also has faster 1/4 mile track time (just saying) More importantly my hour ride home yesterday from a meeting on the Long Island Expressway in traffic was / is much more relaxing than in my Camaro SS convertible with a six speed manual. Remember this is still considered a luxury sedan (which I can fit my grandkids in) with the heart of a ZO6 corvette !
