How can I identify my Le Monstre's build number?
I
Gold Coast (NJ). Manual, Jet Black interior, sun roof, satin graphite rims. If you are Facebook you should join this group Le Monstre Owners Group. No solicitation. All members are vetted by VIN. About half are members of the Cadillac V-Club. Membership in the Cadillac V-Club is not needed to join the Le Monstre group although I highly recommend it. They have #3, #7, #9, #11, #14, #28, #38, #44, #55, #65, #66, & #101. I was a part of it until I had to walk away from my deal to by #6. If you have any questions about the Le Monstre Edition feel free to reach out to me directly.

Why the exclusivity? Seems like a real disservice to the members being blocked by other BW owners. There isn't anything special about it beyond the colors. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?
There are plenty of Blackwing groups out there. What exactly is the disservice? The exclusivity is because there are only 101 of these being built. They are part of a special collectors edition. Just like the original 250, the 120th Anniversary edition, & the 20th Anniversary edition.
As far as the specialness of it, it is more than just the colors. If it was just a color thing then the Grand National would be no different then the Regal T-Type. They are the same car except one came in all black with special emblems. Are you saying that the Grand National Facebook groups should allow members in that have Regal T-Types? I bet if I offered you the choice between a Grand national and a black Regal T-Type you would choose the GN. Does the matte paint, custom interior, blue tinted carbon fiber (which looks amazing in person), stamped sheet metal, laser etched sill plates & Shift Knob make it faster or handle? No. Rarity is what makes something special. That is why gold is worth more than silver but platinum is worth more than gold even though it looks like silver or white gold.
Everybody doesn't have to be a part of everything. That's why we don't have the Boy Scouts of America anymore. We just have the Scouts. Although, we still have the Girl Scouts of America. Lastly, the exclusivity of the club keeps the riff riff out. And I am not calling regular Blackwing owners riff raff. What I am saying is that there are several CT5-V Blackwing Owners groups that have people who are not actual owners of them in it. And some of those people are just looking to inundate you with sales pitches.
The bottom line is, if you can afford the ridiculous markup that dealers are charging for these cars (or have a great relationship with a dealer that will see you it at MSRP....which many dealers charge and ADM for a regular Blackwing....Delaware is looking for $25K over and they are not alone) then good for you. Enjoy it. And if you want to have your own group have at it. I don't know if you saw in an earlier post but I was in the group and removed myself when I backed out of the deal. I'm not bitter about it. Just enjoy your Blackwing like I will enjoy my 2026 Typhoon when it comes in. If you read this far let me finish by saying that there is no animosity in my post but I'm told when I write I sound like an angry @$$#0LE.
