2025 CT5-V Blackwing LE MONSTRE EDITION & 2025 CT4-V Blackwing PETIT PATAUD EDITION

I was able to snag one but for logistics reasonings looks like I wont be able to get it until end of September or early first week of October. :(

If that is number 9, just a fyi, I have number 8. I was lucky enough to get a phone call from my Cadillac dealer yesterday mentioning that the Le Monstre CT5V blackwing they had sold in January when I was again lucky enough to get a 2025 CT5V blackwing 6 speed, level 1 and 2 carbon fiber with ceramic brakes was a no sale by the previous buyer. Guess he got tired of waiting for it as it was only delivered a few days ago. I got pretty good money for my trade with only 1500 miles on it. I am sure someone with the resources will jump on it once it is up for sale. A funny story, one of the sales man at the Cadillac facility asked me if I knew anything about the CT5V Blackwing, they also had a beautiful blue one there. he said he had someone from Colorado on the phone asking questions about the car. I mentioned to him that if the dealership you are working at has even one of these, you have a very special car and also if the caller is from Colorado, that means he has been searching for one and there are none around where he lives. That changed his mind set about a car he knew nothing about. Will attach some photos when I pick it up around Wednesday of this week.

I was a day away from buying #6. The day before you bought #8 the salesman at Earnhardt offered me #8. Contact me off this site. I’d like to ask you a few questions. I also recommend joining this group if you are on Facebook. Even if you’re not. It’s Le Monstre owners ONLY. No soliciting. They have 7, 9, 11, 14, 28, 38, 44, 55, 65, 66, & 101 (the chairman of the Cadillac V-Club).

How can I identify my Le Monstre's build number?

How can I identify my Le Monstre's build number?
That's simple. It's the last 3 digits of your VIN. My VIN was going to be 1G6D25R62S0960006 so my car was #6. That being said the cars were not built sequentially. #101 was available well before #1. I believe that the VIN was assigned at the time it was ordered and Cadillac built them based on a collection of vehicles that were similarly optioned and parts that were available. Currently #4, #18, #19, #43, #92, and #96 have not been issued window stickers. I am hearing that they have been produced but are still in 3400 status awaiting parts and/or QC checks.

What is the last 3 of your VIN?

What # were you able to get? What dealer? For anybody getting a Le Monstre Edition I recommend that you join this Facebook group. It is for Le Monstre owners only. They verify you buy you're VIN. There is absolutely no solicitation. It is strictly for the select few to discuss any issues, concerns, or positive stories they may have.

Why the exclusivity? Seems like a real disservice to the members being blocked by other BW owners. There isn't anything special about it beyond the colors. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

Gold Coast (NJ). Manual, Jet Black interior, sun roof, satin graphite rims. If you are Facebook you should join this group Le Monstre Owners Group. No solicitation. All members are vetted by VIN. About half are members of the Cadillac V-Club. Membership in the Cadillac V-Club is not needed to join the Le Monstre group although I highly recommend it. They have #3, #7, #9, #11, #14, #28, #38, #44, #55, #65, #66, & #101. I was a part of it until I had to walk away from my deal to by #6. If you have any questions about the Le Monstre Edition feel free to reach out to me directly.

There are plenty of Blackwing groups out there. What exactly is the disservice? The exclusivity is because there are only 101 of these being built. They are part of a special collectors edition. Just like the original 250, the 120th Anniversary edition, & the 20th Anniversary edition.

As far as the specialness of it, it is more than just the colors. If it was just a color thing then the Grand National would be no different then the Regal T-Type. They are the same car except one came in all black with special emblems. Are you saying that the Grand National Facebook groups should allow members in that have Regal T-Types? I bet if I offered you the choice between a Grand national and a black Regal T-Type you would choose the GN. Does the matte paint, custom interior, blue tinted carbon fiber (which looks amazing in person), stamped sheet metal, laser etched sill plates & Shift Knob make it faster or handle? No. Rarity is what makes something special. That is why gold is worth more than silver but platinum is worth more than gold even though it looks like silver or white gold.

Everybody doesn't have to be a part of everything. That's why we don't have the Boy Scouts of America anymore. We just have the Scouts. Although, we still have the Girl Scouts of America. Lastly, the exclusivity of the club keeps the riff riff out. And I am not calling regular Blackwing owners riff raff. What I am saying is that there are several CT5-V Blackwing Owners groups that have people who are not actual owners of them in it. And some of those people are just looking to inundate you with sales pitches.

The bottom line is, if you can afford the ridiculous markup that dealers are charging for these cars (or have a great relationship with a dealer that will see you it at MSRP....which many dealers charge and ADM for a regular Blackwing....Delaware is looking for $25K over and they are not alone) then good for you. Enjoy it. And if you want to have your own group have at it. I don't know if you saw in an earlier post but I was in the group and removed myself when I backed out of the deal. I'm not bitter about it. Just enjoy your Blackwing like I will enjoy my 2026 Typhoon when it comes in. If you read this far let me finish by saying that there is no animosity in my post but I'm told when I write I sound like an angry @$$#0LE.

Wow, didn't mean to piss on your Petit party. My point was that there is no difference performance wise between them but ultimately they all could have the same problems. If one decided to join your cool club but didn't get in with us regulars, they might miss some important info about their BW. I had my 5 in my dealer last week and they offered me their Monstre for a trade. If I had the option for the blue carbon when I ordered my 5, I'd have been all over it. They are super cool. And yes, a T-Type and a GN are the same IMO. Had you opted for a GNX, I might have a different response. Now go be special with your Le Monstre.

I hate to break this to you but I wasn't having a Petit party (cute play on words...shows intelligence). As I stated the "cool club" was for people who had Le Monstre specific issues. I am sure all the "cool kids" are in all the regular BW groups so they are well aware of the issues like dealers forgetting to take the moving blocks out from the springs, the oil drain plug problems, and ensuring that the strip on the wheel was centered after the Precision Package package was installed.

Now we both know that your dealer did not offer you a Le Monstre Edition for your automatic 5BW. Please share the dealer if you are so confident. Better yet share you're window sticker so we can see this amazingly spec'd 5BW that a dealer would offer up a 1 of 101 car that the minimum markup is $10k but one has already sold for over $70k above (fact check me....#74 by Cadillac of South San Francisco).

Don't be angry that you don't have one. I'm not. Just enjoy yours and stop begrudging people for having something you, and I, don't have.

If you'd like to see the spec of one of my BW's, both are in the registry. My VIN's are in my avatar. As for the trade you think wasn't actually offered, to that I say you are an asshole as you suggested in your previous post. I'll be happy to post the paperwork they offered. Check back here tomorrow as I didn't think I'd need to show it off today. Why would I lie troll?

You've got an automatic 5BW and a collector 4BW. You said they offered the Le Monstre for your 5BW. If you post paperwork showing that they offered you an Le Monstre for your 5BW I will whole heartedly apologize for doubting you.
If you don't post paperwork then....
I'll see you tomorrow.

I hope there's a way to get those blue seatbelts
There is and someone here already has done so. If I remember correctly, the color didn't quite work for them.

I don't recall @1Evil55 stating straight up if that's what you're inferring. 🤨
