CT4 limited production of 50 units

I am all for special edition cars that actually do something (Henessey varaints of Ford products come to mind) but when it's 10's of thousands of dollars for different colors, it just feels like a money grab.

For instance, I think if they made a 50 vehicle production for $40k over sticker for these cars with the 5BW motor in it.....that would be awesome.

I think Cadillac marketing people have been going to lunch with the Dodge Challenger/Charger marketing people and getting ideas.

They must be snorting their lunches because the only "marketing" they seem to have done for either of the CT4 or CT5 since launched is to let a bunch of YouTubers drive them. That may be how you reach a modern audience, but they're missing an entire segment that still primarily consumes traditional media.

I agree that Cadillac hasn't done enough to promote these great cars but I'm constantly running across folks (obvious car enthusiasts) who know what a Blackwing is and are favorably impressed. Just in the last 2-3 days I've had 4 different people comment very favorably on my car....though they usually assume it is a CT 5 V BW. One did ask if it was a supercharged V8 or a turbo V6 and another asked if it was a CTS V. One compliment just yesterday came from a guy who was searching my car with a dog in a baseball park parking garage. At the end of the search, to my surprise, he complimented my V car - lol.
