I think it may download while driving and then offer to install while parked.Interesting... this might prove a problem for me if true, my parking is an underground with no cellular or Wi-Fi, so it's not like it can install updates on its own when parked overnight.
Welcome to the future! So I guess I have to pull my car out of the garage every first Tuesday of the month to do updates then...
They better communicate like crazy though, the policy change and whenever a required update is pushed.
Woa woa let's not get crazy with this common sense stuff. We haven't even gotten to clearly telling customers what version they're on and what version is the current one. This ^^^^ exactly. Send out an email or something to look for an update in the next X days/weeks. When it's not done within X timeframe, send another email. Oh, and GM, make sure the updates work when you send them.
Have the dealership apply it manually.Fine, but I have tried multiple times to download the update, unsuccessfully, in a 2025 CT5-V BW. Tried different locations and disconnecting from my house's WiFi but the update will not download and install. What are we supposed to do in this situation?
Thank you for the advice, I will contact the dealer.Have the dealership apply it manually.
