Cadillac Racing will be on the track this weekend at Lime Rock Park. The World Challenge series is holding a double header this coming weekend and sharing the track with the ALMS - and Corvette Racing.

Qualifying is Thurdsay with the first GT race on Friday and the second on Saturday. TV coverage is delayed until July 20th. I'll be following the race via the internet.

Unofficial Results of the first World Challenge GT race this weekend at Lime Rock:

1. Skeen in the #2 Corvette
---- started 3rd and got around Andy at the first turn then passed Johnny O a couple of laps later. Skeen led by 2-3 seconds for most of the race then there was a full course caution that bunched everyone up for the last 8 laps. Skeen, Johnny O, Andy and Ende stayed bunched up for the last 5 laps with both Cadillacs taking a shot at Skeen coming out of the last turn.
2. Andy Pilgrim in the #8 CTS V.R
---- nipped his team mate at the finish line for second
3. Johnny O'Connell in the #3 CTS V.R
4. Ende in the #24 Audi R8.

Andy second by 0.15 seconds, Johnny O third 0.20 seconds back and Ende fourth 0.50 seconds back.

Second GT race tomorrow morning at 10:30 Eastern.

Race 2 spoiler

I didn't get a chance to "watch" this race as I was working this morning, so I can't comment on how it went but it must have went pretty good for Cadillac racing.

Unofficial results:

1 - Johnny O'Connell in the #3 CTS V.R
2 - Andy Pilgrim in the #8 CTS V.R
3 - Pobst in a Volvo
4 - Sofronas in an Audi R8
5 - Bryant in a Mercedes SLS

That ought to tighten up the driver and manufacturer points for Cadillac.
