Welcome to the Cadillac V-Series Forums!

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

So, what has been done here?

functional vent? I thought they were just aesthetic.

Where are the detectives that start listing the types of ants found in a picture. It's subtle, but it's there to be seen?

Again, what has been done?

Remember, the game wouldn't be fun if it was too easy.

Rolled your fenders?

Rolled your fenders?
Ding Ding!! We have a winner!

Yes, rolled the fronts and pulled all 4!

Now I should be able to get the 315/30's in the front. Still not sure if it will be an 11" or 11.5" wheel.

There are endless videos on-line showing it being done. First you heat the paint to make it more malleable to prevent it from cracking while being worked. It's so subtle, if you didn't know it was done, you wouldn't even notice it. But I gained about 1/4" inside the well.

The Vorshlag camber plates bring the top of the strut inboard about a 1/4". Next there is some notching to be done to bring the bottom of the strut inboard a bit.

Is this where I tell you my favorite beer and await delivery? 😉

Long live Burt Munro!

lol, that was my first thought when I saw the front pic earlier but discounted as “no way he’d go that extreme”, lol

I spent a few decades in the off-road world where a sawzall is quickly applied to any desired tire size doesn’t fit body problem… guess the nice car go fast folks have a similar but less hacktackular approach.

Had to replace front rotors and pads.
Went with upgraded Girodisc rotors and pads.
They are some meaty rotors.
In the 3rd photo you can see the original rotors that are dished..., have a lip on the outer edge.

Little OCD with the arrangement there aren't we? : )
I've got so many issues, and most are worse than a little OCD. There's some crazy shit percolating in my head right now. We'll see if I can get the genie back in the lamp. If not, my whole world is about to be turned upside down. Like ... , where am I going to sleep?

Well remember bother...., you always have friends in this world. You may not be able to put the genie back in the bottle, but you always have options to deal with it. That's the human spirit!
Wish you luck in you pursuits.

ZL1 Addons splash guard?

The rears doesnt have a lip so it makes it easy to give it a slight pull. The fronts, the lip is already kinda rolled, easy to flatten it but also very easy to warp/bacon it since its so thin when you pull it.
