Traction control

Hey guys, new to this I just bought a 2025 cts 5v blackwing 6 speed. How do you take the traction control all the way off so it doesn’t cut out when doing an old school burn out when dropping the clutch? I’ve tried the modes on it and can’t figure it out and the dealerships around here doesn’t know. Manual says there is a pro mode, but there isn’t any pro mode in the programming of the car. Any help?

You should try using Launch Control. You are going to need the car in Track Mode with a PTM mode selected or in Sport with Competition Mode set.

Ya, I’ve been in launch control mode already and line lock. I just want the car to be able to do a burnout with revving it up and letting the clutch out old school, without that. I’ve tried all the modes they all have at least one bar traction control. Manual says there’s a pro mode which disables the traction control, but no pro mode in my car.

Competition mode is supposed to disable traction control completely. Try that and let us know.

Try V Mode, PTM Race 2, then hold the TC button down for about 5 seconds and the other warning light will come on. You should be good to go.
