Alignment question for those that may have more experience with these cars. 25 CT5V Blackwing. 20 inch wheels & tires, 285 front and 335 rear. Lowered on eibach springs. Installed whiteline camber bolts. Had a rubbing/impact issue on my front left specifically after doing the new wheel & tire setup and I figured I'd go to a better handling setup at the same time.
I was aiming for the track alignment spec(-2.5 R&L front camber, -1.5 R&L rear, .01'-.05' total toe front & rear, etc.) We were unable to get it there. Tried for a few hours on multiple adjustments and this was the best we could land on. Since the stock setup can hit that -2.5 I was looking for with no problem and I added camber bolts to help even more, I'm assuming my increase in wheel size is playing a factor, or the lowering springs, or both. The alignment pictured did solve the rubbing issues, but I'm curious why we couldn't hit the numbers I was looking for.
Any thoughts? Do I need adjustable front upper strut mounts to do more?
