Does anyone know the top speed in each gear for the manual on the 5bw? I can’t find it listed online and my local streets don’t allow me to find out myself.
What rpm is ideal for a roll race start?

I'll help a little on the gearing, theoretically, using this equation:
MPH = (RPM * Tire diameter in inches) / (Gear ratio * Final drive ratio * 336)

Assuming:
- 6500 RPM redline
- 26.3" tire diameter
- Wikipedia gear ratios from Tremec TR-6060 transmission - Wikipedia
- Final drive ratio of 3.73:1

The top speeds in each gear at 6500 RPM are:
1: 59 mph
2: 84 mph
3: 112 mph
4: 146 mph
5: 166 mph
6: 252 mph (which obviously is power/aero limited)

In his ICON review, Jason Cammisa from Haggerty reported redlines of 58mph in first, 83mph in second and 113mph in third. Link: ICON review

I found another source for the gear ratios - I think the wiki ratios and calculated speeds in my post are correct.
Huh. Not sure where I got the other numbers from. But yeah, cadillac.com is probably trust worthy. I've updated my page...
