Tapout MAF tubes

Is there anyone with a 4BW that has installed JUST the larger MAF tubes from TapOut? Meaning, without a JB4 tuner as well. They mention on their site that some cars get a DTC on cold starts with the larger MAF tubes. Just wondering how prevalent that is. Not sure I want to do the whole tuner thing, but the larger MAF tubes with resultant higher boost level is definitely attractive for the price.

Thoughts?

I looked for the thread but, it's eluding me.

I searched but didn’t find any threads where this was discussed - at least with anyone that has some experience with the install. These have been available for a bit now, surely there is someone who’s done it without the JB4 and can comment?

Send him a PM, I recall he had it installed without any additional tuning.

Yeah I did (along with ported throttle body) but with no tune or JB4 or anything and I'm very happy with it. Noticeable (significant) power up top WOT and seems to rev a bit faster. Got a few codes ear;y on (twice)....cleared and none since. Car seems quite a bit quicker. Install was straightforward but benefited from 2 of us working it. Highly recommended.

BTW I won't be responding for a few days as I'll be offline for a bit.
