Don't get me wrong and I'm just one guy. It's beautiful with all the carbon. I like the big brakes.WoW you are throwing me off pretty hard here. I had a 24 5BW manual with the sofa seats, ceramics, no carbons and i loved it but I wanted to have the Buckets, carbons, and precision pack..So I sold it.
Do you feel like the Precision pack is somewhat stiffer and not meant for everyday driving? Or are you just saying this from a perspective that you just dont feel like you would use the limits of the precision pack and that it feels it is a waste to have it on your current vehicle ?
the big thing about Carbon pack 2 for me was when I went to spring mountain all their cars have CF2 pack and I was staring at a carbon diffuser and trunk spoiler for 2 days straight.. It made me really want it.
My old car in '23 was $103k and I got it with 6,000 miles for $97k. My new car is a '25 and it was $136k.
Both equipped the much better "base" seats, again, my own opinion. Yes, I have a base seat precision package unicorn weirdo car.
That said, take $18k off the price and I'm at $118k, still $20k more than my old car I got perfectly pre-owned. Compare sticker to sticker and where's the $33k extra? Sure, I have torch red seatbelts now. Still got bronze wheels. Same tires. Etc etc list goes on.
To ME, I just don't see it, feel it, or necessarily need it. But the car was available, in a great color, and had all the goodies so why not.
My old car was as capable as this one, at least in my hands. Is this one MORE capable? Sure? Probably. Does it look better? Not $33k better, but it's very pretty. Wish it was Blaze Orange Metallic, but we can't have everything in life.
If it means anything, I went from a $230k Porsche Panamera Turbo S e-hybrid Sport Turismo to a $136k Cadillac CT5V Blackwing. I'm happy to have the $100k-'ish "back", but I don't see a $33k difference in my old car. $18k in precision package and however much in Carbon Fiber, so it's likely there for the most part. Is what it is.
As I said, the driving dynamics are essentially the same for my driving style. It's comfortable on the road no doubt. It's more stiff in V-Mode for sure.
