@soulsea Is the 'thing' inventing cloning? Because if so, I've got some ideas on curing Blackwing delivery woes and I'm not that far from you in Charleston.

Ha, not exactly clones. One is violet with red interior the other black on black.

And if you do come to Charleston we can do the bourbon thing. :)

How do you like it? Mine is a 2016 with low miles and the track package
I only have a few hundred miles on it so far. The only thing I dislike is the tendency to tramline on the freeways.

Same here only a couple hundred miles since I purchased it and yes it does tramline like crazy, but the engine note puts a big smile on your face

Here's my current and a few of my past! (Working for a dealership group is dangerous.)

That's an awesome group of cars. Curious how you feel about the Miata given the other high HP cars you've had as well.
Thanks! I bought the ND2 earlier this year planned to make it a dedicated track car. You hit the nail on the head with my previous history of high HP cars. On track, as amazing as it was in corners, I couldn't get over the lack of power coming out onto long straights (think turn 11 at Laguna or 14/15 at Thunderhill). It was fantastic to drive on the street though, and I put over 10k miles on it this summer, but I didn't really need another fun street car. With the insanity that is the new and used car market right now, the smart thing to do was let it go, so I sold it on Cars and Bids last month. Total cost to me, including mods, tax, and insurance, over 6 months and 11.5k miles... about $600. I'd say it was an experience worth having!

On the other hand, the Veloster N I had was cheaper, faster, way more fun to drive and killer on track. I'd keep up with 911s and Corvettes in intermediate run groups. I owned the N simultaneously with my ATS-V, and the entire 9 months I had with that car, that's the one that would come to the track with me. But like the Miata, I sold that car prematurely because I got an offer for more than I paid for it, and it was a second car. I definitely regret selling that one.

Here’s my current ride, it’s fun but I miss rwd and power, haven’t decided if I’m keeping this after my ct4vBW comes in or not, glad I grabbed an STI before they quit making them though, always wanted one and it is a good time even if it’s slow as hell. I was going to heavily mod the Sti, even have most of the parts and was going to shoot for 500whp ish, but with me considering selling it and it being one of the last years it’s made I’m going to leave it as is until I decide what to do with it. I doubt it will gain much value or anything but I doubt I’ll lose much too since you can’t find many with this low miles.
