Yesterday i drove 225 miles to trade my 2025 C8 ERay convertible for a used CT5 V BW. Just some background, I trade cars about yearly. before the ERay I had a 2024 CT5 V non BW and loved it but wanted to go back to a Corvette.
I decided that this time I would try to get something that has both performance and comfort, I also love the Super cruise as i do about 15000 miles a year in my car. This led me back to the CT5 V. I looked into ordering one but this late in the year I could not get an allocation. I looked at the availability of the new ones and non of them were what I wanted. I then started to look at the used ones 25 or newer and found one about 3.5 hours away. Yesterday I drove over and traded my ERay for it. the 250 had about 8000 miles and was in great shape. Even though it was already broken in I cruised home never pushing it and using Super Cruise the whole way. I was surprised to see that I got home with almost a half a tank ( half way between 1/4 and 1/2). The computer says i was getting 24.3 MPG while doing mostly 70-80 MPH.
As for a comparison I will both miss and enjoy less sporty ride while being more comfortable and quite. The long trip >3 hours is way better in the BM.
