New blackwing with precision, toe links?

From another post, makes sense to me.
The toe link that comes in the trunk allows for more camber than the "OEM" part. Needed for those that are tracking their cars.

With the Precision Package toe link installed, you can't get to a basic alignment for regular street driving.

The "OEM" one gives you a range between a regular street alignment and a moderate track alignment. The Precision Package toe link gives you a range between an aggressive street alignment and a full on track alignment. Neither part can both provide a basic street alignment and the full track alignment.

I have the oe street Alignment with fancy aluminum toe links. Maybe your dealer didn’t want to invest the pdi resources

Obviously one of our dealers do not understand the purpose. The paperwork says it is not part of PDI so if I wanted them installed I would be charged. Also the paperwork claims for track use only.
No big deal but it would be nice for a clear cut answer.

perhaps my definition of aggressive street alignment defers. The is vehicle with a precision pkg. 1 to 1.5 neg is where it rocks on the street.

Track use only is just a legal term in this case. If GM said they were for the street then they would have to crash test the car with the part on it to see how it behaves in a crash. They obviously do not want to be bothered doing that. Similar to how aftermarket sells parts as “off road only” to avoid emissions testing.
