Just got the call that they are putting through an allocation for me today and have a question.
Build is:
Deep Space, 6 speed, satin graphite wheels, carbon ceramic brakes w/blue calipers, black mirror caps, high end semi-aniline seats (gray/black) with carbon fiber seatback delete, torch red seat belts, and black lug nuts.

Because we're in NJ, they said they had to add the front license bracket (but know to leave it in the trunk and NOT install it)

Here's the rub: they said that with the high end seats that the sueded microfiber wrapped interior trim package is locked in to/paired with that. That doesn't sound right to me and I don't want the the sueded microfiber steering wheel and shift knob (unless I absolutely have to). Online when you build your car, they are separate options and are not paired.

They do a good volume of Blackwings in NJ and seem pretty upfront so far, but didn't know if they are mistaken, there is a work around, or if there is something not quite right here.

This is my 2nd BW so I have a good idea regarding the rodeo, but don't want to be an arrogant know it all and am curious if others out there have similar builds without the sueded microfiber steering wheel and shift knob.

I have the mid tier seats now in gray/black, but would like to have the color panels reversed (if you build it online you can easily see what I mean).

Thanks all for your help ahead of time!

Suede wheel was a separate option when I ordered my 22. Obviously things could have changed..

As for the license plate, I've walked on deals when I came out to find the dealer drilled holes into a perfectly mint front bumper.

My last one was a 22 also, but an A10...but agree that occasionally things change.
I agree about the drilled holes in the bumper... I seen to remember that they had me order the front bracket on my 22 also d/t NJ emissions...and don't think that what are trying to scam me out of $15😂

My dealer knows if they drill holes in the bumper, it's their car, not mine!

I too have a '22 with the semi-aniline interior and no micro-suede.

I suggest spending a couple of minutes with the online configurator at Cadillac.com to see if these two options are indeed linked (I'd be surprised and disappointed if they are).

I did and they do NOT appear to be... But I know that in the past there have been times where the online configurator and real world have not matched up.

They appear to still be separate RPOs.

I’m just speculating, but I believe that there is some extra Alcantara that comes with the semi-aniline, but I think it’s just on the door card and maybe some other locations. I don’t think it includes the steering wheel or shift knob, which comes as its own separate option. Again, I don’t have either of these options but that’s my understanding.

Ok, we are all squared away. There just was just some confusion due to the IWE code - Sueded microfiber wrapped trim package (that is just for the headliner and other sueded/microfiber interior bits) which is standard (can not be deleted) vs the 53S code - Sueded microfiber steering wheel & shifter which is an option.

The way that the build gets entered into their system it shows everything standard plus the options that I chose, but without a price next to each item... That is why they were saying correctly that the standard IWE code - sueded microfiber wrapped trim package (the description is a bit vague, so when I asked them about whether it was just for the headliner/trim or if it was for the steering wheel and shifter they were thinking it included the latter) could not be deleted. They double checked everything and confirmed with me that the steering wheel and shifter will be leather❤️!

So it was just a miscommunication and I just want to thank Mike Muller (sales rep) at Gold Coast Cadillac and Dave Pelak (sales manager) for going through everything and double checking/confirming my order in an expedient, friendly, and respectful manner. I'm glad because I found Gold Coast through this forum as being a high volume BW dealer and at MSRP and had also dealt with Kelhi Costello (bdc manager) and Dylan Thiel when I first got in touch with them last month about getting A BW and trading in my 22 BW...and they have all been really good to me so far👍🤞.

I also wanted to let you all know that besides posting this thread (ty for the quick responses everybody), I had also immediately reached out to @MArmandSCGV (Matt Armand at Sewell Grapevine) and even knowing that I wasn't likely going to be a customer of his today he still spent time on the phone with me, checked his ordering system, and even reached out to David Wiese (the new @speedygonzalez) at Sewell Dallas (who was very helpful and confirmed everything). After confirming what we all thought, Matt then called me back 10 minutes later. (This was all before I called my dealer back because I wanted to be sure that I had all my information correct)

Sewell once again showing why they have such a good reputation.

So thumbs up all around (forum, Gold Coast, and Sewell x2).

Since I'm in such a good mood, I'll even point out that my local dealer (Holman) has always treated me great too... especially their service department. They just haven't been able to get me an allocation...and even though these are supposed to be produced though the end of the year- 1) you never know if that will ever change or things may go on constraint & 2) I want to get my car as soon as possible to enjoy it as much as possible before I have to switch to my Winter set up!

Thanks for reading through my bloviation.

TLDR- I love everybody, I got an allocation, and my order is being put in today.

will ferrell everybody love everybody GIF

I was playing on the configurator today, which I have also been doing for the past week since I have an order that will likely be placed soon. Anyways, when I went on the configurator today, the microfiber steering wheel was not even an option that was listed.
