In the fall I took my 4v BW to the dealership with about 20k miles on it. They replaced the rotors under warranty, and I learned that the previous owner had it done as 6k also under warranty. The dealership said my rotors were warped and needed to be replaced, I honestly didn't think that could happen on these cars and it was just a buildup of brake dust.

2k miles later I have more brake vibration and tons of brake squeeling. It's been in the salty icy bullshit this winter, so it hasn't been driven hard. Do you think this is brake buildup and I need to get out there and get those brakes hot? I probably will tomorrow, but has anybody else experienced this? Should I take it back to the dealer, I'm still under warranty until next year.

Yes. Lots of people experience it. I see this post at least once or twice a week on Facebook. The rotors arw not warped and weren't warped when they replaced them the first time. Its pad buildup due to driving conditions and driving style. They need to be used or they will accumulate pad material and the dealer will happily replace it all for you for $9k or whatever they charge. And then you will be back there again in a few thousand miles. I bought my car with "warped" rotors and after three weeks of normal to me driving they were "unwarped" and never "warped" again.

what kind of g forces are you putting on the brakes to keep them cleaned up, any idea?

No idea. I just drive. Passengers that are not used to my driving do sometimes comment that I am agressive, but thats mostly camry type drivers.

You can attempt to burnish your brakes per the manual. Brake fade will happen so stopping distances will increase.

1. From a stop, accelerate as rapidly as
possible without activating traction control
to a speed of 100 km/h (60 mph).
2. Using the G-Force Gauge in the HUD display,
use enough pedal force to completely stop
the vehicle in four to five seconds. (~0.7g
Decel level to stop the vehicle in a straight
line). If ABS activates, braking is too hard.
3. Repeat the first two steps 20 consecutive
times, this should take about five minutes.
4. After completing the 20 stops, cool the
brakes by driving for 8 km (5 mi) at 100
km/h (60 mph).
