JB4 Code delete and display screen (CT4V BLWing)

I recently got the Blue Belt at Tapout. How do I delete codes. I can read the code and press delete, but they do not go away. I must be missing a step.
Also, can I display the gauges on my mobile JB4 app on the car screen. I can connect my phone and display part of the home screen, but not the JB4 app yet.
