CT5-V Intake?

Has anyone seen anything on the 5BW intake front? I am really looking forward to one, but I have not seen a single company other than K&N (as spoken about in another thread) working on one. @WONT TAP ?

yes, partially. I have already put the DSX lid on, but looking to open up the intake for a little more performance and sound.

I spoke to RotoFab a few months back. They said the OEM box is as close to perfect as they could do. Only thing they wished for was an AEM DryFlow.

wrinkle black and no issues with fitment, actually sits a hair lower than the stock lid.

Any chance you have a picture of yours on the car? I’m interested in a lid. Was between LMR and DSX. Not certain why the LMR one is $300 more.

I know LMP recently released one LMP CT5-V Blackwing 5" Intake (little pricy)

However, in watching their dyno testing, they made it clear that the CT5BW runs terrible with the intake without a tune. LMP's piping diameter is massive compared to the K&N so perhaps too much flow, or are they trying to push for the tuning upsell.

The blower whine I get with my MPI lid is crazy loud so I'd be down for an intake if the performance factors made sense.
