Is the Larger Infotainment Systems Coming up Make a More Distracted Driver or Not?
Cars are moving toward larger infotainment systems. But is that a good thing? Could a larger infotainment system come with more capabilities or just a more distracted driver?

Maybe it's a combination of my age and how I intend to use the car, but I really don't see why reviewers are saying the 8" and 10" infotainment screens are too small in the Blackwings. Personally, I don't need a lot of screen real-estate vying for my attention, at least not the way I drive. To me, the giant tacked on IPAD screens seem to make new cars seem dated before they even get off the lots, and make the whole interior aesthetic look a bit cheap. I guess from a luxury standpoint it makes sense if you're the passenger watching the nav or the radio. I know EV's go with big screens because they anticipate long periods in the car while it isn't moving, but for a driver's car, I don't really see the need for mega screens....
So what say you? What's your take on the screen size?
PS. GM if you're listening create a separate user-configurable Blackwing-only Performance page in/ for the infotainment screen so that we can augment the limited number of gauges in the main driver display...
