Added a 12" sub to my 5V tire well and it was immediately obvious the sound was being piped in. Look at my last 2 threads on how to disable. I didnt notice before aftermarket stereo but im a naturalist and once I knew it was electronic sound I felt like I may as well buy the new Charger EV. (Kidding).

Id just rather have the car be the car and the sounds be the sounds. And with the corsa on the way and stereo in, it was necessary to change it back how my 2 2nd gen Vs were. Au natural.

I prefer this approach because it's easy to reverse if desired.

However good luck ordering one! I put in an order last Friday. It did not ship and Monday I got email that it had been canceled "because we did not have enough stock to fulfill your order and your payment has been refunded." I emailed them on Monday -- no response. Note that even now the harness is shown as in stock and available to order... I tried calling them today but got a recording (and a robo txt message) telling me to txt or email them. I sent a text asking how to order -- no response.

If I can't get one from them I might try PAC or Metra/Axxess but I'm not 100% sure either of them have an application for the UQS radio.

(And I would roll my own but while the female connector shell is available (35016343) it appears Aptiv never made a free-hanging cable male connector shell.)
