If it takes you three hours for an oil change... maybe you're using the wrong oil? Or maybe you should invest in some service manuals?

10-15 hours to wash the car- that's about right if you're in a hurry.

I do want the service manuals! I'd like to buy a printed manual set if there's such a thing and its not $1000. I heard about the digital version.
Was probably the easiest oil change ever. The filter is easy to get to! using a fluted filter wrench, The only hassle was the valve cover oil fill hole -it needs a skinny tube funnel. I used a transmission mini funnel which worked great but the fill hole backs up quick - just have to pour slow. Easy job except crawling under but next time I'll drive up the 10" raceramps.

Also it's a pretty cool looking oil pan. Some kind of cast metal, nice feel to the touch! Appears as if its an exotc metal or something. I wonder if its cast aluminum.

This is a 5BW? I use a funnel with a 1” opening and pour oil as fast as it comes out of the bottle. The funnel is used more like a splash guard as I direct the oil without hitting the funnel edges much.

5BW. 2024. Yeah the splash avoidance is real. To be sure, I'm surgical with this stuff. I did spill though that really pissed me off. I wiped the darn drips but this is the game?

ps. I wore nitrile gloves. I even cleaned my funnel with 99% ISO - did you?. Did you you want to go further down
the rabbit hole? Sure I fucked up a couple times which made me think about the towel.
