First 2022 Ct4-v blackwing with the factory mounted rear view camera.

So today i decided to see if i could install the rear view mirror kit from the Ats or the Camaro with the roof shark fin camera.
install took about 2 hours start to finish and required dropping down the headliner and removing the shark fin ,came out great i think not a bad days work if you ask. mine should of came this way from factory.

The antenna cover is held on with 8 torx screws and can easily be painted at your local painter.

I, unfortunately, don't have a good local painter who would paint that for any less than ~$250-300 (which is too much, I know) so its still unfortunately not something I'm going to pull the trigger on yet, but maybe one day...

Unfortunately GM only sells the antenna camera in black at this time, I have tried to find painted ones thru the supply houses

I have a local painter who does all the custom work for Mancuso Harley Davidson here in Houston. He painted a silver one for me @ $100, whenever you are ready reach out to me and we can try and get one done for you

Perhaps, I'm missing the obvious but, what's the benefit of this? All that I can see is that the rear view is in the mirror as opposed to being in the center screen.
