V-Series Cadillac(s)?
2023 CT5 V Blackwing
Thanks for letting me join! I picked up a 2023 5BW recently from a guy who upgraded to a 2026. Absolutely love this car and was lucky to find one I could afford. I took a risk because it’s already modded heavily so the warranty for the powertrain is void. The win, is that Scott from Tapout did the work and I’ve learned to trust his shop after years of researching before I purchased. Had to sacrifice a few things: wanted black and wanted an M6. Got red and A10, but the car is super solid and I only paid 80k. Too good to be true but it is!

Very nice! I wonder how much they spent on all that modding? Getting the car including the mods that got it an additional 200+hp for only $80k is a steal! I know I am in the minority, but I think that much extra power is better paired with the Automatic over the Manual. I think it will be way too easy to go sideways (when you don't want to) with a manual.

The post says it is still running on factory injectors. I do not know how that is possible with that much more boost and running on E, even if it is E60 instead of E85-E90. Are you pretty sure they are still the factory injectors?

I have a 2nd Gen CTS-V @ 804whp and I have almost 3x the flow of the factory injectors. I know the setup is different on the LT4, but I am still really curious.

I definitely scored with this car for sure! I had a deal secured on a black M6 with 14k miles for 97k that was all stock and then stumbled on this one. The dealer broke the black one before I could pick it up and the red A10 was a gift from above!

Luckily Tapout did the tuning and work. I really respect their shop and felt confident on the purchase bc of that considering warranty is gone. Hopefully there are years of smiles per gallon without issues.

After speaking with Sam the original owner, he installed 30% over injectors when he did the DSX ported lid and LMP heat exchanger. Other mods to the car are a savage Cadillac carbon steering wheel(looks killer), Katec oil pump, DSX flex fuel kit and Aux fuel pump, ARP studs and bolts throughout, LS7 lifters and tray for DOD delete, PD3 cam, the intake and Kooks long tubes with green cats.

I did a rip today and the boost gage showed 16psi as I white knuckled my way to triple digits. This car is an absolute menace even with the 325mm Michelin PS Cup 2’s out back. Couldn’t be happier with the power and shout out to Scott at Tapout tuning for a professional install and clean build all around.

That car sounds like a beast! I'm not one to mod like that, but I think what you paid is a good deal.

850+ hp is 850 hp, sideways will happen regardless of transmission. Definitely going to be faster with the 10A. I'm all about the 6M, but I had the 10A at Spring Mountain and it's a great transmission.
