I recently crossed the 1,500 mile mark on my car so I was able to open her up. I think it pulls similar to my 2017 C7, which was also a manual transmission car. I didn't get the surge out of either car that I expected for having over 450 horsepower and while one had the V8, they both pulled in a very similar smooth fashion. I think the cars are faster than what I perceive them to be because they put the power down so well, but because of that I'm certainly left wanting more.
I haven't been in a LT4 powered car to see how they feel when the pedal is down, but I'm thinking if the CT4 had similar power levels to the CT5, I would be saying how fast the car feels. Honestly if the chassis can handle the extra 200 horses, I rather have the CT5 power levels in the smaller car.
