Dash Failure Warning?

I searched the forum & it didn't come up.

Was driving home from work last night when I got a "Dash Failure" warning on the dash. However, nothing seemed to be amiss. The warning signal then went away just as mysteriously as it had appeared.

Am wondering if it was a moisture related issue as it was raining -- but not hard -- & there wasn't any moisture/water inside the cabin or dash.

Anyone else have this issue or seen this warning?

What happens if your dash really fails? You'd never see the notice. Poor engineering.

Have anything plugged into your obd port?

Nothing that I'm aware of.

Ok. Sometimes aftermarket things plugged into the obd port (or elsewhere on a vehicle bus) can cause errors like that. Sounds like something else.

It's only happened once & 200 miles later, hasn't recurred. Just found it weird. Will report back if it happens again.
