So my passenger side DRL has faded yellow on my 2022 5BW. I pulled the DRL modules out until I can find replacement modules for them. If yours is dimming or dead, it’s pretty easy to get the modules out to disconnect the DRLs. No weird dash lights or anything.
Take the front wheels off, pop 6 T-15 Torx screws off the peel the liner and you can get to the headlights. 3 phillips screws to take the heat sink/cover off, unplug the modules. Figured I’d rather have them both off until I can find replacements. Atleast I got the part numbers now.
I reached out to a two chinese board manufacturer and one of them seems to be willing to make them. They both have lower trim CT5 DRL modules/chips right now, but they only have 4 LEDs. The Blackwings have 8 LEDs. Im working with Antparts on potentially making them after sending them the boards.
