Chevy's New 2013 NASCAR Model

GM & Chevrolet have said that they will release a new model for 2013 and that model will be the one raced in NASCAR and that the street car will look like the 'race' car. It will not be the "Impala" but a new nameplate not currently in use by GM or Chevrolet. It's also supposed to be rear wheel drive and have a V-8 (G8 GT, Police Caprice, Holden from down under car?)

So, what will Chevrolet call this NASCAR / street car?

Chevrolet has lots of names to choose from that are not being used right now. Maybe I should make this a poll?

Just like the C7 Corvette, GM is keeping a tight lid on pictures of this car.

Maybe it will look a lot like a 1987 Monte Carlo AeroCoupe!

Wish I was back in AZ, the gm proving grounds were right down the street and sometimes the cars ventured onto town...saw the 2013 malibu wrapped up in the camo way before anything had been officially released
