Bonus bolt!

I removed some aero panels on my 5BW yesterday to try and get a look at my oil pan plug (I decided it was too much and gave up -- using an endoscope from the top side was way easier). I was surprised to find a bolt hanging out on the passenger side! Looks like M14 x 1.25 x 30mm.



I can well imagine the assembly line worker dropping it, not immediately seeing it, reaching into his/her pouch and grabbing another...

Based on the grooves on the top, it looks like it was installed.. somewhere. You may need to get the dealer to check out the general area for a missing bolt.
