It wasn't easy back in 2016 finding a GT350 for MSRP. Situation would continue for a few more years, and they were making about 6000 of those a year.

I was trying to find out what the yearly production run would be for either 4BW or 5BW, but I only heard it in one of the review videos that it was only going to be around 1000/yr. If that's true, that's like boutique/exotic car annual production numbers, which is insane. The GT350s engine were hand built just like the LT4 in the 5BW so I can understand the low supply, but I'm curious why the production numbers on the 4BW are so low since it's motor is not hand built.

With about 6k GT350s built a year, there was a pretty good supply of content for me to live vicariously through them while I was waiting for my car to be built. The 4BW/5BW, beyond the professional/YouTubers content, it's like a arid desert, which is a bummer.

Since there's so little supply and it's so new, there's also not very many pictures of the car on the internet or this forum. A vicious cycle of minimal content due to minimal supply.

I hope there's some cancelled orders ahead of me due to gas price fears. 😂

Production woes due to the supply chain are one thing, but even before that, the ATS-V and CTS-V production numbers were super low as well. Those are probably a good benchmark for the newer cars. The most ATS-V sedans made for one model year was 1500 in 2016 (500 in 2017 and 300 in 2018). The most 3rd gen CTS-V sedans ever made in a year was 1900 in 2016 and they declined every year after that.

I had a pretty decent experience buying my 2017 GT350. I was able to find it for $1k below MSRP but I had to go out of state to get it. I've had it for five years now and I'm considering trading it for a 4BW. There is a local dealer saying they'll order at MSRP and said it's taking 5-6 months for them to get built. That's not too terrible of a wait considering some of the stories I've heard.

You're a jokester but I had to get rid of my Shelby because it became bloodlusted
