I saw the video after my initial post. Conditions seemed fine. It seemed he was heavy on the brakes for some reason coming out of the tunnel.

Looks like he was already on the brakes coming out of the tunnel at high speed. Apparently exiting tunnels is a risk factor in crashes.

A man’s got to know his limitations.
