Can someone please tell me if our shift knob is compatible with Camaro ZL1 knobs? I prefer completely round shift knobs and am trying to figure out what I can use.

Any help and tips would be appreciated! Thank you.

Probably? Folks have fit Raceseng knobs in their BW and in their catalog they seem to bundle Camaro and Cadillac together.

Good catch, thank you. And I guess it makes sense that a Camaro shift knob has the same recessed ring at the bottom for the shift boot to attach?

You might have to get an upholstery customizer to help you modify the shift knob if need be and then you can always order a few of them and try them out and then return them if they don't work out and swallow the shipping fee if that's what it takes.

I've been hounding Wildhammer on a monthly basis for an update on when they'll have their CF knobs back in stock... so far no luck.

About a year ago, I signed up to be notified when the carbon fiber shift knob was back in stock—still waiting on that notification.

When I owned my ZL1, I installed their carbon fiber shift knob back in 2018. At the time, it came as a complete setup with the boot and top cap included.

Hopefully someone comes out with a ball shifter or a different shape instead of just the same shifter with a carbon fiber skin.

I need to pop the shift boot off but have struggled with my trim tools - it feels like it is going to break something. If there are any tips, I'd appreciate hearing them. I would like to get Lathewerks to make me a round 2 1/8" polymer/stainless combo one.

if you’ve read the procedure it does work. It’s very difficult to see the right spots to pry until you find them the first time. The slot is very narrow and suggest these tools.

Thank you yes i ordered those (possibly at your earlier recommendation?) but I cannot for the life of me get it to pop out. I've watched some videos and it seems like it shouldn't be so difficult. I will keep trying when I get some time this week.
