Is anybody achieving the 18psi max boost that's posted by GM for our car? I don't see anything over 11psi on my gauge no matter what gear I'm in or what RPM I'm taching when I mash the accelerator.

Looking at most of the Dyno charts that have been proliferating the forums, 12lbs psi seems to be the ECU limited peak output. However, TapoutTuning has a few things than can increase your boost pressure for higher performance.

Factory boost typically ranges from 14 to 9 psi over the powerband. The ECM will close the electronic throttle in order to reduce boost and make sure the car never exceeds it's torque target. We've tuned hundreds of LF4 powered cars, and none has ever hit 18 psi stock.

I'm betting according to GM the car is capable of up to 18psi. This means if you are at high elevation with thin air, car could compensate and raise boost.

This is how my Saabs have been. Media would be like the Saab Viggen makes 20.3psi! No it didn't, it made 12psi at sea level and COULD produce UP TO 20.3psi lol.
