3400 STATUS HELL! HOW LONG DOES A BLACKWING STAY IN THIS STATUS?

About a month ago I put a deposit on a CT5-V Blackwing that the salesman told me was in 3400 event code status for a couple weeks. He also said that until it gets a VIN (3800 status) we can't do any paperwork on it. I have $100K burning a hole in my pocket. I just want to sign on the dotted line so that I know it's mine and it's really happening. Does anybody have any idea how long they stay in 3400 status? I need to know how long until it is in 3800. This is killing me! Every day feels like an eternity.

If you're getting on a plane....I'd just cancel and get your money back. It's not worth that much aggravation IMO. Or, do a video conference. Something just doesn't smell right

It's a 2025.

If you're getting a CT5V Blackwing and it hasn't been produced yet, then you'll be getting a 2026. From everything I know Cadillac has completed their last run of 2025 5 BWs and 4BWs. They did 5s before the 4s so all the 5s should be delivered to the dealers by now.

Also your sig says you're looking for a Monstre edition, I recently saw one for sale (a week ago), and is probably the last one available. Those should all be delivered to their respective dealers. If you want one I don't think you'll be able to hesitate on buying it.
