3,000 miles, rotors warped, GM won't replace

"but the car is babied"

Therein lies your problem..........don't baby it. Every time I take my 4BW out I hit over 100 and smash those brakes, my car burns no oil at 7K miles and the brakes do not squeal or get warped. Like I said, if you're just dabbing the brakes here and there you will get uneven pad deposits. In fact, you can go do a visual inspection of the rotor surfaces and see uneven pad deposits.

I'm inclined to agree here. It's hard to imagine warped rotors at such a low mileage UNLESS the rotors were frequently sprayed with water while they were hot. I will say, there are a LOT of people that don't think about this when washing their cars. They come home from a drive and decide to spray the wheels off with water, that sudden change of temperate on the rotors WILL absolutely cause them warp if done repeatedly.
Also if you do some hard driving or burnishing, then come to a complete stop and hold on the brakes while they are hot, you will leave a pad deposit on the rotor that's uneven. You need to drive a few miles with no hard brake usage till the rotor cools a bit.

Also true.

Not my first rodeo with a HP car...no I did not ruin the rotors......lugs not overtightened or HPDE for days on end. I bought the car with about 80 miles on it, possible someone tried line lock with it before I got it, but the car is babied, never sees rain or sun, always in a garage. Brakes burnished per the manual.

BMW has great service and reliability with no bullshit. My G80 and F30 were bullet proof and this was my main fear of buying GM, and its coming true. My 4BW has seen more of the inside of a service center at 3k miles than my other 2 BMWs combined after owning for 10 years and 100k miles.

I am on my second dealer now, called into GM custom care to get it covered. Silliness all of this is.
11,100 miles on my 4BW. Flawless, even gets surprisingly fine mileage. Oh, I guess I could complain about the carbon fiber seat back squeaking. Dealer will fix it in 2 weeks.

I guess you would say I'm babying the 4BW. ZERO issues of any kind. Oh, yeah, run in often to 100 get radar gunned and maybe a night in jail.
