2026 5 BW Collision Alert Issue

When I change the collision alert menus from alert and brake to just alert then stop and restart the car all settings return to alert and brake. Anyone have a fix for this? Thanks.

My 26 CT4V Blackwing just resets the alert to vibrate. Annoying as there's no timeline of when this happens. It's just random. I discover it's reset when my seat scares the hell out of me indicating a collision alert.

I pretty much crapped my pants when the seat freaked out - it honestly is a crappy annoyance. If anything it will cause problems rather than avoid them. I have another 20-30 items for them to fix, if you got time. I have a Japanese car, a German car, an old hunk of Detroit iron and this new-fangled GM thingy. They all got quirks but the vibrator is something else. ps. the wurst car is da German one (v12 though, wit bi-huffers). 4 things to do 1 simple thing. The best is the Japanese, 1 click, done. Simple, less parts. LIghther but not stronger like the Blackwing... oh boy!
