  • I know that lately, we've gained a lot of new members which is awesome and a lot of those new members are coming from other forums that may use vBulletin and their Private Message (PM) system. Here, we use the XenForo forum software which is (IMHO) much better than vBulletin. The "Conversation" system here is the same as the PM system on vBulletin. 2016 Cadillac CTS-V spied testing alongside F10 BMW M5. Looks like it will have similar hood venting to the Corvette and Camaro:

Three 2016 Cadillac CTS-V prototypes were spied testing together alongside the BMW M5 (F10).

Cadillac's high-performance CTS continues testing ahead of next year's launch as a 2016MY and in these latest spy photos we get a better view of the hood's air intake. Previous shots have shown an almost Maybach-like massive blackened front grille together with a power bulge and beefy front air intakes. The aggressive looks continue at the back where a menacing quad exhaust arrangement resides.

At its heart should be a 6.2-liter V8 supercharged engine taken from the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 modified to deliver approximately 600 bhp (447 kW). As standard it will be linked to either a 6- or 7-speed manual transmission along with an optional 8-speed automatic 'box also sourced from the Z06.

There is a very good chance Cadillac will choose to unveil the CTS-V in January next year at NAIAS in Detroit.
