I think that's the only way you will find chrome wheels. I don't think chrome wheels are offered by Cadillac, just the polished wheels or the graphite wheels.
Due to weather in Race 1, there was no qualifying, so they started based on points with Johnny starting first and Andy fourth. Johnny jumped the gun on the standing start and had to serve a penalty which dropped him to back of the pack. Andy took advantage of several minor crashes at the start...
Bentley coming to Pirelli World Challenge
Saw this article this morning. Looks like Dyson Racing is bringing Bentley into the GT class of the PWC this year.
Dyson Racing Poised for Bentley PWC Program - Sportscar365
Looks good, Tuna. I did mine a few years ago. Went with a Harley theme--Orange & Black. Will have to get some pics after this winter stops, it's really dirty right now!
I saw that as well when I looked up the St. Pete race. Sad that they moved the race back a week. It used to be the week after Sebring, I was hoping to stay down after Sebring and see the race, but its two weeks after Sebring and I can't swing that. I also saw there are some Lambo's in Cadillac...
Thanks for the links. The first race is in St. Petersburg, wonder if they will be there. I'll be in FL the week before at the 12 Hours of Sebring. I'll have to check and see if the Caddys will be in St. Pete!
Hey Tuna,
Have you heard anything from Cadillac about the 2014 season. There website hasn't been updated from 2013. I sent an email to find out if in fact they are running this year and nobody at Cadillac could tell me anything. You would think after winning driver and manufacturers' titles...
The 'trick' to claying a vehicle, is making sure you keep the area you're claying WET!! It is no more difficult than waxing a car. Do it is sections and just keep the area wet as you go along. Once you have done a section, take a clean microfiber cloth and wipe the are dry. You will be amazed at...
Schooley,
There is an '09 on cars.com with over four times the miles @ $34,800, so I would guess the $35,000 firm is not a bad price for the low miles. If you get it, you'll have to bring it to Sebring in March!!
He's a retired Pennsylvania State Trooper with too many toys, Tuna! I've tried to get him to come to my area so our V's can play together, but he's too busy----relaxing:lol::lol:
I'm up for a V get together. Can I bring both the CTS-V and XLR-V???
It wouldn't have been much of a run, Tuna. The Ford Lightining's only have about 360-380HP, depending on the model year. My XLR-V would walk it easily. He would have been looking at the tail end of your Vagon the whole time!!:chuckle::chuckle:
I've never understood why they 'penalize' the cars that win, by making them add weight. Hopefully Johnny loses some of the added weight, by not placing well during the last sessions. Would like to see him and Cadillac win the championships again this year!!
Only thing I've been able to find of good quality is the replica sedans of the Cadillac Racing team. I picked one up last year. Haven't seen any V Coupes or V Wagons at all.
No Spare
I'm kinda used to it, as I also own a 2006 Cadillac XLR-V (no spare either), although the XLR-V is fitted with runflats. That may be your best option, but I doubt the ride in the CTS-V will be as good as it is now with runflats. For all the miles I drive weekly, (from 600-1,000 just...
Thanks for the post, Tuna. The ALMS (American Le Mans Series) is running at Long Beach as well this weekend. This usually happens at Mid-Ohio as well, but this year the ALMS is skipping Mid-Ohio. We have been going the last few years to cheer on the Cadillacs on World Challenge and the Corvettes...
