It's most likely refresh rate setting in the coding. Or you have a poor physical connection.

That's my going in assumption after 20 years of bmws. Two sets of pads on one set of rotors. But these are fancy pants organic pads ...

Hi. Does anybody have min thickness spec for rear and front rotors for CT4BW? It's not stamped on the brand new OEM rears. I need to replace rear pads and rear rotors are nice and smooth with very minimal lip - wanted to double check if I can get another set of pads on them. Car has 30k easy...

Yea. Take it in ask for a tech to drive it.

So it was 20F in chicago last night. Drive it after it sat outside a few hours. Trans shifting did not degrade. So I guess that's good.

Good to know. I came off off f30 340i zhp with Limited slip diff. Had Michelin x ice square tires in staggered rims. It worked well. Now ct4 BW - oem size Michelin Pilot All season 4 (car came with them) in Chicago. So far doing ok :). Have not tried deep snow yet.

Could be rear rotor brake shield

On other cars - I change MT every 30. ATF is cheap. I did DIFF oil at 30k as well but did not do the Elsd portion.

Did you use oem rotors or aftermarket. I see there are Girodisk ones as well as rings from Paragon which fit OEM hats.

GM Updated Part numbers. 88861800 has been replaced by 19540137. Bottle still reads Manual Transmission and Transfer Case Fluid and it is still Dexron III non Syn ATF. Most places now show 19540137 but old 88861800 bottles ship.

85115921 Is the factory pad without Chamfers. 85528936 Is low noise version with Chamfers.

Just a small observation. I changes diff fluid at 30k.... and it smoothed out 2nd gear action. Logically it does not make sense.
