Purchased a 2002 CT4BW. 30k miles. One prior owner. Black with beige seats. Manual.
Came off or 20 years or BMWs. Latest was F30 340i ZHP manual. Been a month. Initial thoughts:
- engine and suspension is great
- Tremec is disappointing. Way too clunky compared to BMW getrag.

Did you ever get your shifter issue resolved? What was the fix and which dealer? Also, which dealer told you that nothing was wrong.
mine does not buzz, but does shake a bit .... I have not brought i tup to the dealer...
Hi. Does anybody have min thickness spec for rear and front rotors for CT4BW? It's not stamped on the brand new OEM rears.
I need to replace rear pads and rear rotors are nice and smooth with very minimal lip - wanted to double check if I can get another set of pads on them. Car has 30k easy...
Good to know. I came off off f30 340i zhp with Limited slip diff. Had Michelin x ice square tires in staggered rims. It worked well.
Now ct4 BW - oem size Michelin Pilot All season 4 (car came with them) in Chicago. So far doing ok :). Have not tried deep snow yet.
GM Updated Part numbers. 88861800 has been replaced by 19540137. Bottle still reads Manual Transmission and Transfer Case Fluid and it is still Dexron III non Syn ATF. Most places now show 19540137 but old 88861800 bottles ship.
