Wow, quite the endorsement. I’m coming up on a year with my 4BW and I really do love it now. Not so much at first as it kind of lacks character. I had it on the Tail of the Dragon a couple months ago and I was blown away by it. I keep test driving ND Miatas as a 2nd car as I have owned and loved...
How is the turn in and agility considerably better? Does the 5 understeer sooner or roll more? Just wondering what I might miss going to the 5 in THAT department. The 4 really does impress me around corners. I don’t mind if oversteering, I would hate to lose a considerable amount of turn-in...
Wow, I came in here to post a similar question. I really do love my CT4Vbw manual, but I have the following issues:
It’s a bit tight for me at 6’2 and certainly my twin 6 years olds in back.
I just don’t love the sound.
It’s sooo damn planted out back. My F80 M3 was a drift monster and I really...
You will certainly spend less time at the pump in the C8! That said, I do recommend at least driving the LC500. I drove one last year and it immediately feels like a very special car and then that V8 sounds incredible. Plus it is far more rare than a C8. Either way, you will not go wrong if...
It is fun to push it to its limits and be amazed that something that big has that much grip. I have literally gotten myself car sick on on-ramps. Unless I need cruise, I have everything turned fully off. I just find the back end a bit unpredictable. Sometimes when I think it’s going to get a bit...
I’ve had mine for a few months and a little over 2k miles and I agree with what your are saying. I think the car is absolutely amazing. The steering and handling are Miata/911 like and the transmission is among the best I have experienced. That said, I don’t find it to be much fun because it so...
Did you get it yet? Really curious to hear how it compares to your BW? I think the 4BW is amazing, but I’m starting to think newer cars are just not for me. So I might go back to a daily and I have been looking at Aston’s. In fact I think I checked out this one you bought.
Just put the Conti’s on my 4BW and really like them. Much more give than the Michelin’s to the point that I drive in V-mode far more often. I picked up from Discount Tire who matched the pricing from Costco. I think it was just over $1k all in. I used their card to get another 5% off.
OP @thefleshrocket almost a year since this post was started and wondering how your feelings have changed? My biggest concern about the car is it’s sheer size/weight. Have you gotten used to it? Funny about the power as I felt that way about my Chevy SS, but it was down over 200hp this the BW...
My local dealer offered $3k without me even asking and these guys were over MSRP a few months back. They are making them faster than they are selling them right now.
