Alright so I had a chance to take the pads out and get a look... doesn't appear that any of the theories here panned out. I washed the car so the rotors had a nice light layer of rust. Took the pads out and at first glance it looked like the top (outer) part of the pad was making contact and...

Noticed this ring of different surface around the outside of the rotor. It looks to me like the pads aren't getting pressure on that area. The other 3 rotors have even wear on the entire braking surface. I've got about 2200 miles. Is this normal? Has anyone else had this happen?

The other aspect not yet mentioned is StabiliTrak, which manages slip angle. StabiliTrak is fully on in PTM wet, so it should allow wheel spin while still having the eLSD help maintain alignment. The influence of StabiliTrak is decreased or eliminated in more aggressive PTM modes.

My driver door is misaligned to the point that the very bottom of the front edge rubs against the front quarter panel every time the door is opened and closed. There is now exposed metal on both panels. You might want to check for that before you write it off as acceptable.

@Rob , please remove my order from the tracker. I had a 2nd order, and that dealer just called and told me the car had arrived out of the blue. Which means autonation cadillac in West Palm Beach should have a CT4 allocation if someone wants to place an order.

Is anyone getting allocations for 4BWs with manual transmission? I am first in line at my dealer since July but they told me they have only been getting allocations for automatics D:

Does anyone know if dealers are able to input orders as MY23 yet? This is for a 4 if it matters. Trying to figure out if an order I place now will have to be replaced as a '23.

I appreciate your take on that... I will ask them if there is a specific reason why they are waiting. Although without an allocation to match it with, they could still technically give it to someone else.

follow-up question (since "when" is probably impossible to answer): It seems like some dealers place the orders to 1100 without having the allocations yet. For these types of dealers, does the factory take order date into account when accepting orders? In other words, if a dealership puts 30...
