Has anyone experienced the "Side detection temporarily unavailable" message after driving about 90 miles or a little over an hour? I've taken my CT5V Blackwing on 4 road trips and each time after about 90 minutes I get the "Side detection temporarily unavailable" message on the driver's display...
Has anyone experienced their car surging while normal daily around town driving? Seems to occur around 2000-2500 RPM. It gets so bad that I have to either push the clutch in or accelerate pretty aggressively to make it stop. I notice it mostly after driving 2 or 3 miles from a cold start in the...
I spoke with Ashley at Spring Mountain this morning. Unfortunately ALL CT5V Blackwing manual trans classes are booked. I'm waiting for a cancellation or for them to create additional classes. I went to Spring Mountain in 2019 when I bought my Z06 and it was a fantastic experience. I'm expecting...
Thanks!
Here's the GM Rewards website. Your dealer should have set this up for you.
You get rewards points from every purchase from dealer service, OnStar, etc...

You have to attend the class within the 1 year. It would probably be best to contact Ashley at Spring Mountain ASAP. At least you can make your case to Cadillac that you contacted Spring Mountain within your first 4 month of ownership
I just came across this while looking for some all weather floor mats. If they actually have any available, this is a deal. They are a reputible parts supplier. I have bought numerous GM items from them in the past for my Stingray and Z06. Just thought I'd share it....
Wow.... Just got off the phone with Ashley at Spring Mountain and all classes for the V Academy are full as of today. She said they are trying to find a way to fit in more classes and they are also attempting to get more cars from GM so that they can increase the class size in the existing...
My buddy that works at the local GMC dealership ran the part number for me. It returned that there were 2 at the local GM warehouse in Baton Rouge, La. (I live an hour away from Baton Rouge). I went to accessories.cadillac.com, found it, selected my local Caddy dealer where I ordered my car...
I checked the box on the accessories.cadillac.com order form when I placed my order and had the dealer install it. It arrived in 2 days. Was $112 to install. I didn't want to drill it myself after I read the 20 page installation document. LOL
Congrats!! It seems like if the car is shipped via Accelerated Services, they do not update the GM system for vehicle status. At least that is my guess....
Nope. My bad for posting on the wrong thread.... I was just excited to find the right part number with the 10% off and free delivery to the dealer. And a plus that I could use the rewards points I received for purchasing the car.
Yep. Same for me. I emailed Keri @ Accelerated and she said she didn't show my VIN, but said to check back later in the week. I emailed again on the Thursday and she told me it was slated for pickup on Fri. Jul. 1 with estimated delivery for Tue Jul. 5. Missed it by 1 day, it showed up Wed. Jul. 6.
